ULRICH RUCKRIEM: THE SHADOW OF THE STONES
"Four blocks of stone are projected within a space using a graphite application in such a way that their sides and bottom surfaces are displayed on two adjacent walls. These projections are a virtual representation of four stones standing in my halls in Sinsteden near Cologne. I am keen to present this project in private and public exhibition spaces that either possess or have exhibited my work in the past." - Ulrich Rückriem, November 2005An exhibition of Ruckriem's work was presented at the Museum of Modern Art Oxford (now Modern Art Oxford) in 1976.
