Modern Art Oxford welcomes families and children
Activities for children and adults to enjoy together accompany every exhibition at Modern Art Oxford. These include:
• The Modern Art Trolley introduces children of all ages to the Gallery through a range of fun and creative activities. Bring your children along to try out activity sheets that encourage them to explore the artwork. You can visit the trolley in the Entrance Space from 2pm to 4pm at weekends during exhibitions. There is no need to book, just drop in. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Family Guides are available for most exhibitions and can be enjoyed by all family members. The guide encourages a creative pathway around the exhibition and suggests activities to try out at home.
• Family Days often involve innovative and experimental approaches to interpreting exhibitions
• Weekend and Holiday Workshops for children and young people, led by artists
• The Café offers a range of freshly cooked food including children's portions and a children's menu at weekends and during school holidays. High chairs and baby-changing facilities are available.
