This Autumn, Modern Art Oxford presents the work of British artist Angela Bulloch in the Upper Galleries, and ARRIVALS>Lithuania in the Lower Galleries.

ANGELA BULLOCH - 11 October to 18 December 2005

Coinciding with ARRIVALS>LITHUANIA, Modern Art Oxford presents a new exhibition of the work of British artist Angela Bulloch in the Upper Galleries. This will be the first comprehensive presentation of the artist’s work in the UK since her Turner Prize nomination in 1997.



The exhibition presents a survey of Bulloch’s most significant light and sound work sfrom the past ten years. It will also include a new installation, made for the spaces at Modern Art Oxford.

ARRIVALS>LITHUANIA Zilvinas Landzbergas -11 October to 24 December 2005

This exhibition presents a new body of work, developed during a residency in Oxford.



The exhibition is organised as part of ARRIVALS>NEW ART FROM THE EU, a series of ten exhibitions over two years at Modern Art Oxford and Turner Contemporary, Margate introducing the work of artists from the expanded European Union. Turner Contemporary, Margate will present the work of Darius Ziura, 8 October – 4 December.



ARRIVALS>LITHUANIA forms part of a programme of Lithuanian cultural events in Oxford in autumn 2005 supported by the Lithuanian Embassy in London and the Ministry of Culture, to include art, music, film and performance.
