Goodbye to all that!

The huge grey gates that dominate Modern Art Oxford's side entrance on St Ebbes Street are being taken down today.

This is the first step towards creating our new, level access which will lead visitors into Modern Art Oxford through a covered yard, designed by artist Richard Woods with architects dRMM. Just the size of the newly-revealed aperture gives a sense of how much more prominent our entrance is going to be.

Meanwhile, inside the galleries, a hole is being punched in the wall ...

Modern Art Oxford re-opens to the public on 17 April 2010.
