This publication has been specially commissioned to accompany the exhibition Hit and Miss at Modern Art Oxford by the artists Simon and Tom Bloor, and to mark the 2010 Big Draw campaign.

Taking the form of a child's drawing book, it characteristically brings together the artists' interest in the interplay between text and image, graphic composition and the history of poster design. Evoking a nostalgia associated with the public information campaigns of the 1970s and 1980s.

The Bloors' opened-ended questions and propositions strike a balance between instruction and play, humour and puzzlement whilst at the same time framing the potential of how we might envision a new world, new structure, new realties through the child's imagination.
