Artist talk, book launch and special screening of Black Drop with Simon Starling at Modern Art Oxford

Turner Prize-winning artist Simon Starling discusses his recent practice, the ideas behind Black Drop, its relationship to the history of cinema and the connection to the Radcliffe Observatory.

This talk also marks the launch of Black Drop, a ciné-roman style publication based on his new film.  The fully illustrated publication contains the film's transcript and features an essay by the architect and eclipse-hunter Mike Davies.

Black Drop will be screened at the end of the talk. 

The publication is co-published by Modern Art Oxford and Humboldt Books.
