Modern Art Oxford

Ella Clocksin, Oxford based artist and exhibitor from the Oxford Open at Modern Art Oxford in 2008, returns to the Gallery to show and discuss excerpts from recent performances and film installations. Clocksin uses touch, movement, voice, endurance and repetitive, ritualised actions with objects to explore what can and cannot be said about experiences on the border between language and the body. These include dimly realised and paradoxical perceptions of grief, longing and bodily knowing before the conscious mind formulates language.

Organised by Friends of Modern Art Oxford.
