Singer-songwriter and composer Matt Winkworth invites audiences on an eclectic journey, telling forgotten stories and tall tales from the piano. Drawing influence from the faded glamour of vaudeville, his songs consist of broken rhythms and jagged melodies, and are humorous and poignant by turn. 

Bird Radio is a one man band inspired by a world of sound. The performer is Mikey Kirkpatrick, a London-based musician, composer and producer. He performs stories and songs with vocal effects, bespoke percussion, flutes, didgeridoo and much much more.

Listening to Matt Winkworth tonight is like listening to Stephen Fry tinkling the ivories and doing his best Noel Coward impression. Whether he’s singing about cardigans, or simply promoting his Myspace page there’s a wonderful playful humour to his lyrics and stage presence - Nightshift, June 2009
