01.10.2013 — 17.11.2013
Created to support new artistic talent in the South East region, Platform presents the work of graduate artists from Oxford Brookes University, The Ruskin School of Drawing & Fine Art, Oxford University and Reading University.
The artists are Dom Callaghan, Gemma Davies, Louise Fitzgerald, Rosanna Reed, Jakob Rowlinson and Lewdjaw//Jack Wilson.
Platform is devised in collaboration with the Contemporary Visual Arts Network South East, and is a partnership between four galleries: Aspex Gallery, Milton Keynes Gallery, Turner Contemporary and Modern Art Oxford.
Each gallery has selected graduates from their local area, two of which are then nominated for the Platform Award, the winner of which will receive a 12-month programme of bespoke professional development and a bursary. The winner will be announced at Turner Contemporary, Margate on 7 November.
