Modern Art Oxford is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. This means that the gallery receives an annual grant from Arts Council England to help the running of the organisation and the delivery of its programmes.
Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from the Government and the National Lottery.
Oxford City Council supports Modern Art Oxford through an annual grant which contributes to the cost of the premises on Pembroke Street.
We also work with many individuals, companies, charitable trusts, and other organisations to secure money and other means of support to maintain and grow our activities.
We are committed to ensuring that all exhibitions remain free and accessible to all. Every donation, annual gift, grant and purchase made in the shop and cafe helps to safeguard the future of the gallery and enables our work to continue.
You can find out more about the ways we generate income and how this is spent by viewing Modern Art Oxford’s annual accounts hosted online by The Charity Commission.
