In 2016, Modern Art Oxford celebrates 50 years as an internationally acclaimed powerhouse of contemporary visual culture.\u00a0KALEIDOSCOPE is a year long series of interlinking exhibitions, performances and events, presenting an unmissable opportunity to reflect on some of the great moments in Modern Art Oxford\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
Because it\u2019s a special year, we decided to try something a little different. Instead of closing when artwork is being installed, the galleries will be open all year round in 2016. This is so you can glimpse behind the scenes to see the exhibitions being made. In KALEIDOSCOPE you\u2019ll see historic works from our past exhibitions sharing space with an exciting roster of new commissions.<\/p>\n
Artworks returning to the gallery from across the world appear alongside works by artists showing for the first time at Modern Art Oxford.
