Throughout 2016, as part of Modern Art Oxford’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the Channel will host two posts a month exploring the gallery’s rich archive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the first of every month, Modern Art Oxford\u2019s curators have selected exhibitions from the gallery\u2019s history, including Myth & Reality: Aspects of Modern Indian Art<\/em> (1982) and Out of Beirut<\/em> (2006).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mid-month, Director Paul Hobson will select an exhibition from the past 50 years as a personal highlight to share with Modern Art Oxford audiences. Exhibitions such as Positive Lives \u2013 Responses to HIV<\/em> (1994) and Kandinsky \u2013 The Munich Years<\/em> (1979), will be explored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this series of visual posts, Modern Art Oxford aims to provide an in-depth look at a wider selection of important exhibitions that are not featured in the exhibition and talks programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
