In July 2018, musicians Eric Clarke, Bruno Guastalla, Melissa Holding and Julian Masters spent a sunny weekend making music and recording the sounds of Oxford University owned, Wytham Woods. One of the most researched areas of woodland in the world, Wytham Woods has recently become a site of art making and experimentation as part of Future Knowledge<\/em>, our current exhibition exploring creative responses to climate change.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live at Modern Art Oxford on the evening of Thursday 11 October, the musicians performed Wythamscapes, <\/em>their resulting sound installation exploring relationships between people, sound, place and nature by juxtaposing a 24-hour cycle of the sounds of the woods with discrete episodes of sound and music. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
