Her experimental \u2018Film No. 4\u2019 better known as \u2018Bottoms\u2019 &#8211; screened every day during this show &#8211; had been made, premiered and then banned in London in 1967. Another piece completed in London was &#8216;Ceiling Painting (Yes)&#8217; (1966). Installed on the ceiling, a framed piece of paper displayed the word \u2018yes\u2019. Visitors were invited to climb a stepladder and read the letters using a magnifying glass.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone wp-image-38752 size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.modernartoxford.org.uk\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/YokoOno_0014-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-38752 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 4683px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 4683\/5948;\" \/><figcaption>Yoko Ono, <i>Ceiling Painting (Yes)<\/i>, 1966. \u00a9 Modern Art Oxford<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>One of Ono&#8217;s &#8216;Wish Trees&#8217; has also featured at the gallery. In this ongoing series a tree native to a site is planted under her direction. Visitors were invited to: &#8220;Make a wish. Write it down on a piece of paper. Fold it and tie it around a branch of a Wish Tree. Ask your friends to do the same. Keep wishing. Until the branches are covered with wishes.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why not start your own wish tree?
