Put to us by an audience member during one of our&nbsp;<em>Breathworks<\/em>&nbsp;live events, the timely question written above has been the inspiration behind a brand new creative challenge for children in collaboration with the charity, <a href=\"https:\/\/oxfordshirekindnesswave.org.uk\/\">Oxfordshire Kindness Wave<\/a>, created with artists Najia Bagi and Ella Shepard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Breathe in deep and enjoy our&nbsp;<em>My Friend the Sea<\/em>&nbsp;video below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"My Friend the Sea - creative breath mindfulness for children\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5wZMsIdz_wA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Shared for Children&#8217;s Mental Health Week (1-8 February 2021) as part of <a href=\"https:\/\/mao-old.focus-earth.co.uk\/mao-assembly-creative-wellbeing\/\">Wellbeing Season<\/a> at Modern Art Oxford,&nbsp;<em>My Friend the Sea<\/em> is an imaginative and mindful 5 minute video story created by Najia Bagi, a yoga teacher and artist. Najia creates multi-sensory experiences to encourage self-reflection and social connection. Designed for children and their families or carers for during the coronavirus pandemic, this video uses children\u2019s storytelling to unite traditional breath meditation practices with creative breath participation explored in the online project <em>Breathworks<\/em>.
