Daniel Mandur Thomaz is a PhD candidate at University of Oxford, where he also teaches translation and modern Brazilian literature. He has a BA in History and an MA in Political History from the University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and contributes regularly to Brazilian magazines and news websites such as Revista Forum, Carta Capital, and BBC Brazil.
