Have you ever visited an art gallery and felt perplexed by contemporary art today?
Paul Hobson, Director of Modern Art Oxford, explores the development of art practices through the late 20th century and early 21st century to the present day.
In an age where seemingly, ‘anything can be art’, this evening session will use clear and accessible language to demystify the elusive ideas and forms of contemporary art. By looking at a range of medias from sculpture, painting and photography through to performance and film, explore how ways of expression have changed and why contemporary art can be easy to understand and explore.
Price includes light refreshment and a glass of wine.
