Paul Hobson, Director of Modern Art Oxford, discusses how to look at the often perplexing new forms of art that are being produced today.
Paul will provide expert insight into how to understand contemporary art, how to be in a gallery and how to decode the intentions of artists. You will spend time in a gallery setting, work to develop your response to individual artworks and look at how art works re-act when they are placed in the company of other artworks. Discover how deeper meanings can be unveiled and how aesthetic and conceptual values can appear to shift.
