Join Young Women’s Music Project (YWMP) and artist-filmmaker Beverley Bennett to remember and celebrate the enduring legacy of Kate Garrett, founding member of YWMP.
YWMP will host a conversation on how ‘motherhood’ as a quality manifests in our everyday relationships, followed by a gestural drawing session hosted by Beverly related to how we understand the idea of the “mother”.
The event features a mixture of music, drawing, conversation, movement, poetry, readings, video and essays by Kate.
