How we're continuing to keep you safe

9 December 2021

Here at Modern Art Oxford the safety of our staff and visitors is essential. From Friday 10 December, face coverings will be compulsory in public indoor venues. Please wear a face covering throughout the building, unless you are exempt or eating or drinking in the Café.

We’re also encouraging visitors to continue social distancing and to regularly wash their hands so that everyone can feel safe whilst enjoying a trip to the gallery.

What you need to know:

  • Face coverings – From Friday 10 December 2021, face coverings will be compulsory in public indoor venues, including museums and galleries, in addition to being mandatory in our Shop unless you have an exemption. This will not apply in our Café when you are eating or drinking.
  • Social distancing – we will continue to limit the number of visitors to the gallery so that you can maintain social distancing during your visit.
  • Hand washing – we have additional hand sanitising throughout the building.
  • NHS Test and Trace – we encourage all visitors to check in using the NHS app and will continue to prominently display the QR code.

If you have any questions about these measures we would love to hear from you: info@modernartoxford.org.uk
