Dan Graham’s edition for Modern Art Oxford was produced to accompany his work included in Modern Art Oxford’s KALEIDOSCOPE exhibition Mystics and Rationalists, 11 June – 14 August 2016, the third exhibition in Modern Art Oxford’s 50th anniversary year programme.

Dan Graham first showed at Modern Art Oxford, then the Museum of Modern Art Oxford, in 1978. Graham described this exhibition as a key point in his career which led to the development of his architectural pavilions. The artist spent much of the following 40 years creating variations of the pavilion in locations all over the world. This edition is a drawing made by the artist as part of a utopian proposal for an underwater bookshop and cafe in Marseilles.

A limited edition of 15 prints, exclusive to Modern Art Oxford. Numbered verso and signed recto by the artist. All our editions come with a certificate of authenticity.

Modern Art Oxford editions are generously donated by the artists. All proceeds from the sale of these works directly support our exhibition and education programmes.
