We are open 10am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday and 12-5pm on Sundays. We are not open on Mondays.

This fully illustrated catalogue focuses on Haegue Yang’s concurrent 2011 exhibitions, Teacher of Dance at Modern Art Oxford and Wild Against Gravity at the Aspen Art Museum. Both exhibitions featured newly commissioned work by the Seoul- and Berlin-based artist, who is known for her colourful and sensorial installations and sculptures that occupy the in-between spaces where public and private meet.

The publication features essays by Art Historian’s Julian Stallabrass, Anne Wagner and Director of Aspen Art Museum Heidi Zuckerman Jacobson, as well as an interview with Haegue Yang. Teacher of Dance was Yang’s first major exhibition in the UK.
