Frame your visit to the gallery with a bite to eat in our Café, which offers fresh, seasonal food made on site and served by our friendly staff. Enjoy homemade soups, sandwiches and salads, as well as refreshing alcoholic and soft drinks, teas and our special house blend of Lavazza coffee.

Food and drink
Our menu changes to include seasonal specialities, but we try to ensure we always have popular vegan, vegetarian and coeliac options. If you have any other dietary preferences or requirements, please let one of the team know.
We have menu items for children and we are very happy to offer highchairs and bottle heating.
Accessibility

Lavazza coffee
Through our partnership with global Italian family coffee company Lavazza, the Modern Art Oxford Café proudly and exclusively serves Lavazza’s Alteco coffee, composed of a unique blend of organic beans from Central American Mountain origins. All our coffees can be made with oat or soy milk at no extra cost.


All our food is freshly prepared on site every day and includes
Warming soups served with sourdough bread and butter £5
For children: a half portion served with bread and butter £2.75
Sweet potato falafel and hummus wrap £4.50
Jumbo sausage rolls (meat or vegetarian) served with salad £5.50
For children: half of either and a piece of fruit £4.50
Fishcakes served with wild rice and salad £8
Fresh sourdough sandwiches £4.50
Ham and cheese or roast vegetable and hummus
Our sweet treats
All our cakes are made on site or at the much loved Barefoot Bakery in Summertown. All our cakes are vegetarian, with gluten free and vegan options available, and include:

As a registered charity, all proceeds from our Café directly support our exhibition and education programmes.
