Explore the connections between sound and image in this free holiday workshop inspired by Appau Jnr Boakye-Yiadom’s exhibition Modular Merger.
What To Expect
Layer painted and collaged images, experiment with everyday objects and sensory materials to discover the sounds they can make, and create your own musical instruments using boxes, tins, elastic bands, paper straws and more.
Add your creation to our growing collection of instruments, then make some music together.
This workshop will run as a flexible drop-in session between 11am–1pm and 2–4pm. Suitable for ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
