Artists in Conversation: Kira Freije and Olivia Plender

Join artists Kira Freije and Olivia Plender ahead of the opening preview of their new solo exhibitions for a conversation about the ideas, research and processes behind their work.

Kira Freije will discuss her immersive sculptural installations, which explore community, kinship, vulnerability and the relationships between human and animal worlds. Olivia Plender will reflect on her research into women’s healthcare, feminist history and the ways knowledge is shaped, recorded and excluded. The talk offers a first chance to explore both exhibitions before the 6.30pm opening celebration.
