Join YWMP as they take over the space for a night of group drumming, live performances, and mark-making.
Team Drum is open to total beginners. Team Drum creates and learns drum beats for carnivals, parades and protests. These beats are inspired by songs they love.
Team Drum will hold a workshop for an hour, followed by a performance by local drummers with mark making in response to the beats.
This event is open to anyone and free for anyone aged 14-25.
YWMP provides an inclusive, supportive space for young women, trans and non-binary people to get together to make music, learn new skills, express themselves, and grow in confidence. We are based in Oxford, with a focus on working with 14 – 25 year olds.
