Young Creatives Social: Introduction to Double Negative (The Clown)

Explore Mike Nelson’s exhibition Double Negative (The Clown) and discover how the artist uses installation and sculpture to tell stories.

In this session:

We’ll spend time in the exhibition, paying attention to what we see, hear and feel as we move through the space. Afterwards, you’ll use writing and collage to capture your own experience and consider how the senses shape our interpretation of an artwork.

All materials will be provided. For ages 16–18.

Our free Thursday evening Young Creatives Socials are a relaxed space for ages 16–18 to meet other young people, experiment with creative techniques and work with professional artists within the gallery.
