Young Creatives Socials are welcoming Thursday evening sessions where you can experiment, develop your creative practice and meet other young artists. Build your portfolio, discover professional pathways into the arts and try something new – without pressure.
What to expect:
Studio sessions: Experiment with different materials, learn new skills and create individual and collaborative artworks.
Exhibition visits: Explore our exhibitions and discover the ideas, themes and materials behind the work.
Portfolio building: Develop your portfolio and get advice on presenting, discussing and writing about your work.
Creative careers: Meet the Modern Art Oxford team and learn about different education, training and career opportunities in the arts.

Our free Thursday evening Young Creatives Socials are a relaxed space for ages 16–18 to meet other young people, experiment with creative techniques and work with professional artists within the gallery.
