Exhibitions & Creative Learning Administrator (fixed term, part time)

Contract: Fixed Term / Hours: Part Time / Salary: £8884 for 35 weeks (£2200 fte pro rata)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised part-time Exhibitions and Creative Learning Administrator in a time-specific role created to support the administration and delivery of exhibitions and learning during a six-month sabbatical taken by the Chief Curator, Head of Exhibitions & Learning (October 2021 – April 2022).
This will require a highly organised individual with excellent communication and
administration skills who can work well in a team, and keep an overview of many
different areas of activity. You will have an eye for accuracy, an ability to prioritise
effectively and support others with forward planning through reliable and timely administration.

Acting Head of Exhibitions & Creative Learning

Contract: Fixed Term / Hours: Part Time / Salary: £45k pro rata (£16,615 for 32 week contract)

We are looking to recruit an interim part-time Acting Head of Exhibitions & Creative Learning to cover a seven-month period, commencing at the end of September 2021 and concluding in early May 2022. For this role we require a candidate with experience of managing major exhibitions of modern and contemporary art in a comparable public institution, as well as related learning and publication projects. The role will provide management, support and guidance to the Exhibitions and Creative Learning team and ensure the effective delivery of these strands of programming, whilst working closely with our Communications and Digital team to ensure a joined up approach to physical and digital programming. Extensive experience of exhibition making and creative learning programming and delivery, including personnel and budget management, excellent planning and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced creative environment are essential attributes for this position.

Retail Assistant (Part-time)

Contract: Permanent / Hours: Part Time / Salary: £9.50 per hour

We are looking for a new Retail Assistant to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday(24 hours per week).
Our shop is an important part of the visitor experience and as one of the team who comes into contact with the public the most, the role of the Retail Assistant is to provide exceptional customer service and a friendly welcome. The Retail Assistant will assist in managing the Shop, handling sales, visitor enquiries, and event bookings. Alongside this they will actively promote all areas of the gallery including exhibitions, events and education programmes, and all commercial and fundraising activities.
