Your body is breathing now, but is your mind? When mind and body breathe together, something unexpected happens.
Breathworks is a digital art-research project by Lucy Sabin, which invites you to explore conscious and creative approaches to breathing. Recent world events have made breath a recurring theme of 2020. This project is an opportunity to take stock – to reconnect with your breath and with others online. We warmly invite you and your friends and family to join in.
To take part, create your own ‘breathwork’ by sharing an image and a sound recording with us that captures your experience of breathing.
Breathworks opens for submissions on 1 August and participation will be presented across Modern Art Oxford’s Instagram and website.
