This new exhibition marked Modern Art Oxford’s name change and re-opening after refurbishment. It was Emin’s first British exhibition since 1997. It contained neon wall hangings, drawings, etchings, film and a large scale sculpture installation of a pier and shack made from reclaimed timber. The exhibition was ‘a compilation of images and writings reflecting her life, her sexual experiences and her desires and fears.’
