COVIDAMA (2020): A new film by Andrei Gloria

Discover a short film by Andrei Gloria celebrating the resilience of his mother, an agency nurse, and the power of creative curiosity in the face of uncertainty.

“I wanted to celebrate my mum in this film. Her resilience, determination, and curiosity during the pandemic has been a massive inspiration to me. Her approach to exploring her own creativity has inspired me both creatively and mentally, to keep moving forward in life. I hope this film inspires others to do the same.” – Andrei Gloria

COVIDAMA follows Gloria’s mother as she creates Kokedama, or Japanese ‘moss balls’, as both a creative experiment, and also a form of escapism from the intensity and challenges of her work during the coronavirus pandemic.
