Helen Kohl is one of three Platform Graduate Award artists showing their work at Modern Art Oxford this year. Her exhibition Untitled (Elements of the Intimacene) + Untitled (The Heir of the Sea) is currently on display in our Creative Space.
In this post, get to know Kohl as she introduces us to the themes and inspirations behind her sculptural installations. Kohl describes her practice as a poetic observation of life around her, emphasising tactile and emotional thinking. Here, Kohl redefines the concept of ‘home’ and explores ‘belonging’ in its most intimate and profound form.
