Modern Art Oxford’s partnership with Lavazza

Modern Art Oxford is pleased to announce a partnership with the global Italian family coffee company, Lavazza.

Founded in Turin in 1895, Lavazza has a 123-year tradition of exporting authentic, quality Italian coffee experiences around the globe as well as a long history of promoting the arts and culture. From its first steps taken with revolutionary campaigns created by the undisputed Italian advertising genius Armando Testa, through to the celebration of artistic creativity represented by the Lavazza Calendar, the company has always been a pioneer in the visual arts. From photography and design to fine advertising graphics, today Lavazza is a partner of leading international art museums.

With this new partnership, Lavazza’s latest evolution takes the brand another step into the world of modern and contemporary art with a strong commitment to ‘image’ through promotion of photography and art. Modern Art Oxford is excited to be working with Lavazza to continue their commitment to supporting the arts. From mid-November, Modern Art Oxford’s café bar BRICK will exclusively serve Lavazza’s Alteco coffee composed of a unique blend of organic beans from Central American Mountain origins.

Paul Hobson, Director of Modern Art Oxford says, “This is a very significant and important partnership for Modern Art Oxford. We are thrilled to be working with Lavazza to share their coffee with our customers and to work with them to support the world-class contemporary art experiences our visitors value.”

David Rogers, Lavazza UK Managing Director states, “Our latest local UK partnership with Modern Art Oxford builds on Lavazza’s heritage of working with some of the world’s most recognised cultural institutions and photographers through the famed Lavazza Calendar project.” He added, “Our presence at Modern Art Oxford will undoubtedly help further position our brand with a key customer base that is as passionate about the arts and culture as we are.”
